A Brief Intro
Don't let that charming smile fool you; I'm pretty serious about this whole "sport media professional" thing. Hard work, determination, tenacity, perseverance, and self-confidence are all traits I seek to embody each and every day. But I'm getting ahead of myself, and this would be a really long introduction if I just laid out my whole story, so keep scrolling to learn a bit more about me.
My Story
I'm currently wrapping up my second year of study at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) in the Sport Media program. It's honestly an experience like no other: getting to be around like-minded, sports-obsessed people and do crazy things like run a 30-minute live studio production on the same day as a lecture about the secrets of sports business. Hands on experience in a studio based inside the former Maple Leaf Gardens, working in a virtual production environment, and creating social media content and subsequent articles in a realistic newsroom setting are just a small selection of my favourite elements of this program, and I wouldn't trade it for anything (NOTE: this message was not a paid advertisement, I'm just a fan of my program).
I'm the kind of guy who could probably produce, direct, and host a big sports event – all while editing the highlight reel, creating the graphics, and writing the script (I'd probably even handle the audio too, if you asked nicely). A true jack-of-all-trades, my experience spans every corner of sports media, from broadcasting to journalism, and everything in between. Whether it's commentating youth soccer games for Cable 14 Hamilton, calling IBL baseball games for the Guelph Royals, crafting award-winning articles for the likes of Shutter Sports Media, managing league productions at the CEBL, or producing another in-class project, you can count on me to deliver top-notch content without breaking a sweat.

To me, after growing up as a fan of uniquely creative broadcasters like Jerry Howarth, Mauro Ranallo, Cheryl Pounder, and Jay Onrait, it's the hardest workers behind the scenes who make legendary sports moments even more magical. Not just hosts and talent, but producers, directors, journalists, and reporters who help add layers of memorability to sports' finest hours with their own unique storytelling abilities. So that's what I want to do: tell lasting stories that resonate with people.
